History
Juliet was born to Frank and Margaret Beaumont in Hunspach, France. Her mother is full veela and her father is a wizard. Frank worked in a bank and Margaret was a stay-at-home mother.
Growing up, Juliet knew she was different from the rest of the kids in her village. They lived towards the outskirts of the village because of her mother being a veela and them being magic, they did not want to expose their world to the other Muggles. But one day in, particular, Juliet noticed in the rose garden that one of the roses had not come to bloom yet. Juliet was sad and put her hand on the flower… which then instantly made it bloom. Being scared, she ran to her mother, which then sat the 8-year-old girl down and told her that she was a witch.
As she was growing up and living her life in Beaubaxtons, Juliet was particularly fond of Divination. Once she could take the class, she took it every year… even sometimes spending time with the professor there, asking questions and filling her mind with knowledge. Even late at night, she would be under the covers reading books.
Leaving Beauxbatons, she decided to travel the world to gain more knowledge about Divination. She went to America, to study a lady she had heard of reading tea leaves… then to Germany to learn the art of tarot card readings… then to Asia to learn about Chinese fortune telling. Everything seemed so exciting and a wonderful experience, but she felt like it was time for her to go find a job, being 23 years old.
Juliet heard around the grapevine that Hogwarts was hiring a Divination professor. So she applied and got the position. She had loved being a Divination professor. There was so much that she had learned from the students; patience and understanding. Juliet was pretty mild-mannered anyways and she had a caring nature to her as well, so it was easy to talk to the students. But some students feared her as well if they were misbehaving. Juliet believed school was for learning and not messing around, especially during class time.
After being there a bit, she was promoted to Head of Ravenclaw house. Juliet thought it was going to be a difficult job, but it wasn’t as bad as she thought it would be. Next, she had her strike at love. It was another professor that she had fallen for, but she didn’t know completely how he had felt since he had vanished one day and didn’t come back. This led her to heartbreak and into the arms of another man, Phoenix. They had shared a night, and a month later, she was pregnant with his child.
He had proposed to her countless times while pregnant, but with her heart not fully committed to him, she refused. On the night of her child being born, someone from her past showed up at the hospital. Juliet’s heart had dropped, and the stitches holding her broken heart had started to bleed again. When Phoenix had left the hospital, she had cried all night. Months later, a house-elf had shown up, telling her that his master was dead. It was the same guy her heart was with. The house-elf had said to her that he had left her his manor. Juliet could not believe it, but she was also scared to tell her fiance (she was now engaged to Phoenix, at this time, and she settled more than loved him). Jules did tell him and he went into a rage… which made her leave for almost a year.
Out on her travels, she tried to learn what had happened to her past love, but she hadn’t come up with anything, and along her travels, she had learned that she would try to leave her husband.
Coming home, of course, Phoenix had yelled at her, telling her that she was a horrible mother for leaving her child. It made Juliet feel like total shit, but she showed strength and packed her things, and moved to the manor. Of course, her husband followed.
When she returned to Hogwarts, she was moved to be the Astronomy professor and from there, she had been given back her position as Head of Ravenclaw, plus Deputy Headmistress. For a while, she had done the job for a few years before her husband was then fired from Hogwarts (he was the Groundskeeper). This was her chance to leave him, and she did. She had kicked him out of her house and she had not seen him again, she doesn't know what had happened to him.
After another year, Juliet received an owl stating that there was an open position for Headmistress of a wizarding school in America. Smiling, the Beauxbaton’s alumn saw her opportunity to get out of Hogwarts. There had been a lot going on there and she didn't want Axel to grow up without a mother.
With that, she packed her things and moved to Darvey Island.
